Micro-weddings are becoming a pretty common occurrence. I think that people have realized that you don’t necessarily need 300 people at your wedding (and perhaps your budget doesn’t allow for feeding that many mouths) to have a meaningful day. Now, I’ve photographed plenty of large weddings, and they are a ton of fun, but this trend of smaller, more intimate celebrations are really growing on me. Brittni and Brian hosted their wedding at the Garden Chapel at Big Cedar Lodge. They had just 25 of their closest family/friends in attendance and it was such a meaningful and special day for them. There was no meet-n-greet line that took an hour. Just genuine hugs and gratitude.
One thing that I've liked about these intimate weddings is that nobody feels rushed like with big weddings. So what if you’re running a couple of minutes late starting the ceremony? I think it’s a beautiful way to celebrate the love between 2 people. Thank you Brittni and Brian for letting me be part of your beautifully planned day!
