I first met Trisha and Jason when they were planning a destination wedding at Top of the Rock in SW Missouri. They lived in the Dallas area but wanted to explore the idea of a destination wedding. They found me on a local vendor list here in Missouri. While they were in town for a site visit, I did an engagement session for them. I guess you could say we clicked. We had great fun working together and came away with some really incredible images. Trisha and Jason later decided that it would be best to host their wedding in North Texas, but they wanted me to be their photographer. So, in April, I made the journey to Dallas for their wedding.
Fun fact about me: I really love to explore new places. I was thrilled at the opportunity to travel to Texas for the wedding. Trisha and Jason were so accommodating and the weekend was a blast. Their biracial wedding was a beautiful combination of American and Indian cultures, and was hosted at the gorgeous Venue at Waterstone. Aside from being such an awesome couple to work with, they had some fun elements worked into their wedding, including a traditional Indian dance, a gorgeous evening dress for the bride to wear during the reception, and a helicopter exit at the end of the night. Good stuff! Here are a handful of my favorite images from their day:
