Matt and Lacey met in med school.  Matt quickly took notice of Lacey, but she wasn't one to be won easily.  Matt knew she was worth it, so he put in the work to win this pretty girl.  Needless to say, they are excited to announce they plan to exchange vows in November.  I had the sweet opportunity to shoot their downtown Little Rock engagement session, and they made my job a breeze!  Have a look!

Angie and Trevor are a joy to work with!  I recently had the opportunity to spend part of an afternoon with them and learn their story.  They seem to be such a perfect match for each other and I'm super excited to photograph their summer wedding at Big Cedar Lodge!  Check out how fabulous these two are together!

Tate was born in early March and I had the opportunity to do a newborn session with him within a couple of weeks.  What a cute kid!  And his mom had some great outfits lined out too.  Oh, and did I mention that Tate has two older brothers that are super excited to have a little brother??  Super cute family!  Check 'em out!

In January, my wife and I celebrated our 1st year of marriage.  I love being married to her!  We decided to head out to Utah and see what kind of hiking we could scare up.  We were able visit Zion National Park, Cedar Breaks National Monument and Bryce Canyon National Park.  It ended up being quite a bit colder than we had anticipated, so the camping was pretty cold!  But hey, you only celebrate a 1 year anniversary once!

I love small intimate weddings.  This super sweet couple tied the knot in a intimate ceremony on a gorgeous day in January at Miss Gilmore's Carriage House in Springfield, MO.  Matt and Sarah were so relaxed and great to work with!  And Sarah did a great job of matching her dress, flowers, and even Matt's suit and tie!  They were great in front of the camera and made my job so easy.  The venue, which is full of great history and fun quirks, used to be a depot for carriages and stage coaches, but now serves as a wedding venue and reception hall.  The venue sits on a few beautiful acres not far from downtown Springfield, MO!  Check out missgilmorescarriagehouse.com for more information, and tell Robin that I sent you!  Enjoy some images from Matt and Sarah's January wedding.

I recently had the honor of commuting to the Memphis, TN area to capture Sarah and Caleb's winter wedding.  What an awesome day!  These two have so much love and respect for each other.  Their admiration and devotion to each other and to God made it such a joy to be part of their wedding.  There weren't many in the auditorium that had dry eyes by the time Sarah and her dad made it to the front of the auditorium.  Maybe it was the prayer from her high school days, concerning her future husband and wedding day, that Sarah read into the microphone before she made her grand entrance.  Perhaps it was the gleam in Caleb's eyes as she approached him.  Or even Sarah's twin brother, who had the privilege of being the Best Man, who had tears of joy streaming down his face.  I suppose it could be all of the above.  Thank you for allowing me to participate in such an inspiring day!  

A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to capture Brad and Kylie's KC wedding at an old stone chapel.  They are a fun and spunky couple, and we had a lot of laughs during their big day.  And to top it off, the weather was perfect!  Enjoy some images from their delightful day.

I absolutely loved being a part of this wedding.  Jessie and Ben are young, fun, passionate, adventurous, and are such a good match that even their families have become best friends!  On top of that, Jessie and Ben were surrounded by a bridal party that was enthusiastic and full of fun.  It all made for an incredibly meaningful and joy-filled day at a little church in Springdale.  And on top of that, there was a great dusting of snow on the ground which made for an incredible background for their photos (we had some fun with that!).  I could go on, but I think the photos add all the details.  Enjoy!

I recently got to photograph Patrick, who is a 2013 Senior at Branson Highschool.  Patrick wanted to do a simple and low-key session for is Senior session, so we went to some places that he loves to spend his spare time.  Literature and the great outdoors are a couple of Patrick's favorite activities, although I hear he's a stud of a soccer player too!  But that's why I like Patrick.  Although he is an extremely talented guy, he would never tell you that.  His whole family is great to be around, and they've raised a fantastic young man.  I had a great time with Patrick, and I hope you enjoy some photos from his session!  

Some friends of mine recently had a baby and we went to their house and did a newborn session with them.  Little Mabry is adorable!  

Andy has been a good friend of mine for several years now, so I've been very excited for him as he has met and come to love and cherish so much his beautiful bride.  They tied the knot in early November and I had the pleasure of being their photographer.  I had a blast!  They are such a fun couple and a perfect match for each other.  Their wedding day was intimate and filled with so much joy!  I could say so much more about them, but hey, I'm a photographer and not a writer!  Enjoy some highlights from their wedding!

It is my privilege to introduce you to Levi.  Levi is a lot of fun.  Levi is a unique and really fun guy, and he doesn't let his cerebral palsy slow him down either!  The guy has a great sense of humor and he's not afraid to use it, and from what I hear, the ladies love him!  Levi has fantastic parents who love him and make sure that he knows that he's loved and very important to them.  Do yourself a favor and meet Levi someday!  In the meantime, check out some of the images from his senior session! 

We recently had the opportunity to photograph some more super cute kids with Santa.  By the way, I don't know if you've ever met Santa, but he's a super cool fella and real easy to talk to.  But hey, that really shouldn't come as a surprise!  We went for a vintage look at a fun venue.  If you get a chance, you should check out Robin's Vintage Suitcase.  She lent us several props that added a great feel to our setup.  Take a look and hopefully we can photograph your kiddos next year!

I went out late one night in an attempt to photograph a meteor shower.  I didn't do so hot at it, but I did get some great shots of the night sky during the new moon!  Think Macintosh might want to use some of these for desktop backgrounds??

Dennis and Saundra are in love.  Still.  They've been married for 32 years and are having more fun than ever! They have not only loved each other deeply, but they are known by many to be two of the most hospitable and loving people you could be around. When I say hospitable, don't immediately think that they know how to invite people over for a good gathering, although I know they are probably great fun at get togethers. Instead, know that these two have taken in multiple foster children over the past 32 years. Know that instead of being at the age of being empty-nesters, they are instead caring for and raising an adorable little girl with multiple medical needs. So, hospitable to Dennis and Saundra mean that anyone is welcome at any time, and their house is always open for people who need family and love. And know this: Dennis and Saundra, in their love for one another and for others, are true examples of being disciples of Jesus. I only hope that 32 years from now, my wife and I can also look back and remember all the people we helped by following Jesus, and also still be so deeply in love with each other that we can honestly say we are still dating!
